Mariposa Beads is a new, family-run business born from a genuine love of crafting and the simple joy of making something with your own hands.
The name Mariposa means butterfly, and we loved the idea of a brand built around creativity, colour and transformation. After all, some of the loveliest projects begin with just a tiny bead and an idea.
Our range brings together thousands of beads, findings, tools, kits and jewellery-making essentials, including an extensive collection of Miyuki Delica seed beads . Whether you are choosing the perfect shade, experimenting with a new technique or gathering everything for your next big project, we want it to be easy to find something that sparks your imagination.
We also want Mariposa Beads to be more than somewhere you simply buy supplies. Alongside our products, we share practical guidance, video tutorials and creative inspiration to help makers feel confident trying something new.
Most of all, we believe crafting should feel welcoming. You do not need years of experience, the fanciest tools or a perfectly planned project to get started. Curiosity is more than enough.

Do you have a minimum order value?
Not at all. Order exactly what you need, whether that is a single packet of beads for the finishing touch or a full basket for your next creative adventure.
How long will it take to dispatch my order?
We prepare orders as quickly and carefully as we can during our working week. Dispatch times can occasionally be a little longer during especially busy periods or new product launches.
Where do you deliver?
We send Mariposa parcels throughout the UK and to makers around the world. Available delivery services and any qualifying free-delivery options will be shown at checkout.
What is your refund and exchange policy?
If you change your mind, eligible items may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange.
Returned products must be unused, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. We cannot accept returns of cut chain, cut stringing materials or beads that have been removed from temporary strands.
For hygiene reasons, earring findings are also excluded from returns.
Please contact our customer service team before returning anything so we can send you the correct instructions.
Are my payment details safe?
Yes. Keeping your information safe is extremely important to us.
Payments are processed securely through trusted payment providers using encrypted connections. We follow applicable UK data protection requirements and do not sell customer data.
Do your products comply with UK and EU safety regulations?
We work with our suppliers and manufacturers to ensure products meet applicable UK and EU requirements, including REACH regulations where relevant.
If you use our supplies to create finished jewellery for sale, you are responsible for ensuring the completed item meets any safety, labelling or compliance requirements that apply to its intended use.
